You aren't a princess. You’re enough.
By Robert Mahase

I see a lot of searches lately for “princess photoshoots.” I get it. The idea of playing dress-up for a day sounds like a nice escape from the stress of real life.
But if you’re looking to wear a tiara and sit in bright, flat lights, I am not your photographer.
A “princess” is a character someone else wrote for you. The real you is the woman you actually are when the world stops telling you who to be.
Most photography is designed to give you a costume to hide behind. I use Shadow-Play to do the opposite. I don’t want to hide you behind lace and props; I want to use the shadows to protect the parts of you that you’ve been taught to be self-conscious about, so the light can find the fire you’ve forgotten you had.
My studio in Titusville is a sanctuary, not a playground.
I work with women who have survived the betrayal, the weight loss, and the years of feeling “invisible.” They don’t come to me to feel like a “princess” for an hour. They come to me for real proof. They come to see that even with the scars, even with the changes, even with the years — they are a masterpiece right now.
Confidence isn’t something you bring to the session. It’s the result of finally stopping the performance and letting the shadows find your strength.
Private sessions are currently booking for September and October in Titusville. Every commission begins with a confidential conversation about your story, boundaries, and vision.

Stop hiding. The shadows are ready for you.
