You don't need to be healed to start.
By Robert Mahase

Private sessions are currently booking for September and October in Titusville. Every commission begins with a confidential conversation about your story, boundaries, and vision.
Most people would tell her to wait. They’d say, “Wait until you feel better,” or “Wait until the dust settles.”
I told her the opposite. I told her that her strength is at its peak right now, even if she can't feel it yet.
This is the core of the “Art of the Shadow.” My studio in Titusville isn't for the women who have it all figured out. It is a sanctuary for the woman who is currently in the fire.
When you feel broken, the last thing you want is a bright, flashing light in your face. You don't want to be “exposed.” That’s why I use Shadow-Play. I use the darkness to wrap around you and hide the parts of your story you aren't ready to share, while the light finds the survivor who is still standing.
You don't need to be “healed” to walk through my door. You just need to be done with the version of yourself that hides.
The confidence you see in my portraits isn't a pre-requisite. It is the evidence we find together in the shadows. Whether you are coming from Orlando, Melbourne, or right here in Brevard County, your reclamation doesn't have a “better time.” It starts the moment you decide you are worth the investment.

The shadows are ready to protect you.
